Postnatal Pilates Classes
These classes are suitable after your postnatal GP health check.
Pilates is a low impact exercise so is safe to return to after your 6-8 week postnatal check pending a health screen assessment with the physiotherapist.
These classes will focus on your core and general strength whilst also working on flexibility, balance and posture.
Babies are welcome to lay beside you during the daytime classes as we recognise the important of exercise and how difficult it can be to find time to exercise as a new mum.
Antenatal Pilates Classes
Exercise in pregnancy is important and has many benefits. Antenatal Pilates focuses on breathing, posture, muscle tone and strengthening, flexibility and balance. This helps prepare the body for labour and the demands placed on the body when becoming a mummy.
